| What is a style sheet? |
Style sheets control typographic details. You quickly apply the exact same formats over and over. You also get retroactive control--you can change your mind--redefine your Style Sheets, and the whole document conforms to the new formats. |
| Can't you modify style sheets without an XTension? |
Yes, but it's not quick or easy. Choose Edit > Style Sheets to make your changes in the dialog boxes, but you can't see what you're doing. Or, make your changes on a sample of text, and use a well-known procedure that takes us at least 24 seconds. |
| How does Redefine Style Sheet work? |
Quickly. Simply adjust your text on the page where you can see it, and choose Utilities > Redefine Style Sheet (or type your keystroke) to instantly update the style sheets. An optional confirmation dialog box informs you which settings will change. |
| Is there an Undo? |
No. An Undo should restore your document to exactly as it was before, right? Redefining a style sheet back to a previous definition would not restore a document to exactly as it was, whether you used an XTension or the Edit > Style Sheet dialog boxes. |
| Is there a Windows version? |
No, but we are considering making one. Do you need it? |
